I’m an architect, relocation agent, personal shopper inmob, and local Jerezana with a profound understanding of the beautiful cities and towns of the province of Cádiz in southern Spain.

I spent 13 years working as project manager in Switzerland. I know the challenges of adapting to a new culture, navigating bureaucracy and making big life decisions in a new country.   • You’re in love. You’ve found your perfect home and you’re ready to make an offer. I’ll work on your behalf to negotiate with the owner and the agent to get the best deal possible.

    It’s normal for the owner to be deeply involved in the process. They’ll commonly be at home during an inspection and be directly involved in discussions about the sale price.

    With my local knowledge and architectural expertise you’ll know you’re getting what you pay for.

    The first step is to meet formally with the owner and agent to sign some paperwork and pay a deposit to secure the property. During the meeting everything is explained. Of course it’s best if you can be there in person (with me translating), but if you can’t make it I’ll manage the process on your behalf.

    Then we wait until the agreed date for signing over the deed. During that time you’ll need to arrange insurance, power and water, an internet connection, register as a resident … all the annoying things that go with buying a property. If you’re not Spanish all this can be daunting – but I’m here to help at every step of the way.
